Your Communication Toolbox

When I communicate, I am expressing myself and making a connection with others (one or many).

Since my communication profile is unique to me, and each person is different, it follows that my communication must adapt to be effective.

The comedic image of an American in a foreign land speaking loudly and slowly to be understood is funny precisely because we know it doesn’t work. Yet we still fall into the trap of doing this!

It is the communication equivalent of using a hammer on a screw, or a butter knife to slice vegetables. If you are doing that, you need more tools.

It still surprises me how resistant some folk are to learning simple principles that would help them to communicate more effectively.

Conversely, I am filled with joy when someone comes to me and says “I know you can help me, what’s the first step?”

Each client is unique, and every company is different, so the tools we use vary.

This is the strength of the Life Languages™ system; it incorporates a wide body of knowledge into specific tools that can be applied easily and constructively with a little training. The satisfaction from using the right tool at the right time is incomparable. Seeing the fruit in the workplace, the home, or the community makes the initial investment of time and resources worthwhile.

So how’s your communication toolbox?

You may not need the engineer-level toolkit, but everyone benefits from having a basic range of communication tools.

Can I help you figure out what would be beneficial for you?
